The Beginning of Keira's Fairytale: Baby Blessing & Nursery

Yesterday was Keira's baby blessing. My mother made her beautiful dress! (I picked out the fabric and purple ribbon!) Taylor gave her a beautiful blessing. I bore my testimony about when I first brought her home, I couldn't believe she was my daughter and the Lord is entrusting me to teach her all about the the gospel of Jesus Christ. And how the joy of becoming a mother overwhelmed me. The joy was unlike any I've ever experienced in my entire life. I felt that I was finally completing my destiny and purpose that God designed for me. There truly is no greater calling than to be a mother. I've also finally posted pictures of Keira's bedroom, I didn't post them sooner because I'm still getting curtains and finishing a shelf to hang. But what the heck, ya'll can see it :) LOL! (Vintage stencils & butterflies)

(my favorite feature is the chandelier! perfect for night feedings & gives a nice soft glow ~so relaxing~)

(the sign says,"Fairytales do come true")

(I painted and decoupaged the letters with scrapbook paper.)

(I bought these and customized them to match the bedding! I hand cut the flower & butterfly)

Taylor's parents FIRST GRAND-CHILD!

So sorry we missed her blessing. Caden was sick and well church is not really a happy place for me right now so Sunday found me at home. She looks so peaceful in her gown. =)

I love the bedroom and all the cute decorations.
Gotta love purple and green decor.
I think it's very nice that your mom was able to make her dress. That's very special.

I love how cute her room is. Which reminds me of how totally unprepared I am for this baby :).

In response to your question, I am pretty uncomfortable. Most of it is from being on bed rest. I've been on bed rest since about 27 weeks, and can only get up to go to the bathroom. So, it has been nice since my feet haven't really gotten a chance to get swollen.

I love looking at pictures you've posted of your daughter. It makes me so excited.
