True Colors Revealed
So I admit. I've never really been one to be involved in reading and keeping up with political things. But the past 2 months, I have be scouring articles and devouring information about the presidential candidates. And as I've been making my own observations, I've let my feelings and opinions be known about the facts I've read. I've shared those opinions with other friends of mine. And it's amazing to see that because they don't agree with me, they degrade my opinions and my decision of who I'm voting for. It's just sad to see this topic can cause "friends" to show their own character of who they are when you don't agree on something. Now, I'm not that super close to these friends, not like we're best friends, but I've worked with them and have been generally friends with them. It's sad that the respect I had once for them isn't the same. Okay...i'm done venting. And sorry "friends" I'm not changing my opinion or decision. Thank you.

It's amazing how people get stuff like this. Mike has decided to tell everyone he's voting for Mickey Mouse, just to avoid the comments of the people he works with. It's not worth the argument when you have to see someone everyday. We understand and good for you for not changing your educated opinions.
Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. My sister and I didn't speak for two weeks and I cried on several occasions because of an ongoing email political debate that just got ugly. We decided to drop it, but this week she started up again with chastising the conservative side of my family for what they believe. It never ends. It's like these people who profess to promote tolerance often incite and encourage contention. Ug. Sorry you have to deal with it too!

I think parties are EVIL! And I think people that just vote their party are the worst kind of followers! How can you support anything you don't have a true testimony of?
